In order to ensure and maintain quality of service and furthermore enhance job creation, Hi-Tech Security Lowveld was converted to a security franchise in 1997. Today Hi-Tech Security is very well positioned and the leading security company in the Lowveld region.
HI TECH FOAM
We started off with two workers serving mainly the re-upholstery and motor trimming industries.
Our business grew over the next ten years and we employed forty people by 1998. The core business was still foam converting, but we also started manufacturing innerspring mattresses and base sets. In 2003 the innerspring operation was sold and a deliberate effort was made to change our core business from foam converting to the production of value added consumable products.
